Importing Outlook My Documents to Thunderbird
Got Thunderbird 31.8 working, then dumped my Outlook data files to Mailstore, all OK.
Only problem now is, Thunderbird can't see the Mailstore folder. How do I connect Thunderbird up to that folder?

Export the Outlook calendar to an ics file, import to TB (Events & Tasks/Import...).
For the contacts, save them as vCards, then merge into a single vcf file and import to TB.
Post the BT issue as a separate topic.

Did MailStore create a MailStore Export folder under Local Folders in TB?
Endret
Not in Thunderbird, no, it created that folder within Outlook which is not where I want it.
I have ended up uploading (NOT "exporting") the data to the email server from Outlook, then crossing over to TB and trying to download it to Local Files, only it failed halfway through.
Try exporting from MailStore in eml format and import to TB by drag and drop from File Explorer to a subfolder of Local Folders in TB.
Many thanks for your help!
However:
- I have eventually got all my emails across after a couple of blind alleys, but no Contacts and no Calendar. OK, I'm going to have to accept that as a chance to prune some dead wood.
- All the above I did on TB 31.8.0. I then ran all the updates up to 78.0 (the latest version) only to find that TB refuses to connect to my email server (btinternet.com), it keeps giving an error message to the effect that the email server has dropped the connection - note, the email server, not Thunderbird, despite the fact that TB 31.8.0 connects up quite happily and sends and receives emails totally successfully. Should I raise this as a support issue?

Many thanks, everything seems to have worked.
I have posted the BT issue separately but had no response yet. I note TB 78.x seems to have attracted quite a few issue reports, so I guess I just have to wait.
