Unable to receive emails
Since the last Thunderbird update I have been unable to receive emails from virginmedia but I can send them. I now use Outlook which is working fine But, I would like to use Thunderbird.

what error message to you get? What anti virus are you using? Have you tried it with email scanning disabled?
I am using ESET. I am getting no error messages just the blue circle going round as though it is waiting for a reply. I disabled the email scanning and tried Thunderbird again, still the same. I restarted the computer, still the same. Thanks for the reply Dave
