Block autoplay video
How do I block autoplay vedio?
I know I can block Audio and Video, but I just want to block autoplay video. As if I use the block audio and video it will mute all videos I open, and I need to unmute it every time. I just want autoplay to not start, not mute the video too.

You can do it on a per site basis also so at least autoplay will be blocked only on certain sites. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-autoplay

That will mute the video. I only want it not to play the video, not mute it.
Ok,
If I have the second option "Block Audio" I get 1. If I have the third option "Block Audio and Video" I get 2. I want it to be as number 3.
So I want to block video but allow sound.
So Firefox is unable to block auto play videos without muting the video too. Is there a technical reason for that or just that? I don't see why the blocked Audio or Video and Audio, but just ignored to add block for video.
That may be worthy of feedback using Help > Share Ideas and Feedback. You could also file a request for enhancement on bugzilla: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
Yes there needs to be 4 AUTOPLAY Options:
1 Allow Audio and Video 2 Block Audio (only) 3 Block Video (only autoplay Audio; mp3, and other audio formats.) 4 Block Audio and Video
Most, if not all Videos has the audio embedded into the video; thus you can't just play the audio without allowing the whole video stream to play. I guess there might be a Add-On to separate the video stream to only play the audio.
