Firefox and Thunderbird cannot start by all means
Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible
on debian 12 linux
I tried `firefox` `firefox-esr` `thunderbird``firefox -P`. I also deleted `~/.mozilla`, `firefox -p presaved-profile-dir` stay the same.
the `firefox binary` and the `profile dir` are all useful because I saved them to zip file and use them every day. So is there any other dir besides the 2 dir which fails the startup? even thunderbird fail with the same reason.
Help please, thanks!

This may help. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-run-firefox-when-profile-missing-inaccessible
I followed the steps in it, no lucky. I also searched all the related topics on the net, believe or not, this is a issue not recorded on the internet yet.
How do you restore the saved profile ? Note that some files in the profile contain absolute paths and may only work with the original profile name (default-release.xxxxxxxx). A profile also needs to be registered in profiles.ini, so you need a matching profiles.ini or edit this file.

I created a new profile in the specified directory. after install some addon and config tweak. I packed it. I unpack it to the same directory every time I use. This method works across machines.
The issue happened after a hard rebooting a freeze on Linux.
After a lot of tries, I now also deleted the ~/.mozilla , not changed anything. (anyway to recovery it?)
