web site comments
There are sites, including yahoo that all my comments are coming back as "comment failed to publish" or other sites where comment section just not there. Seemed like this started happening after a recent Firefox update. I have contacted web sites, my protection service and they have, after research come back with problem is Firefox. If there' something I've done or not done to have this happen, let me know. It DOES NOT happen when I use, as example Edge or anyone else. Thanks......Mike

Disqus comments are blocked by Strict Tracking Protection.
Try clearing site cookies and disabling Tracking Protection for the site.
Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?
Tried everything I can. This just started happening out of the blue about three weeks ago. At first I thought yahoo had done this but after dealing yahoo, my protection service and Firefox (update this morning) still the same. "comment failed to publish" or on unrelated sites, comments are gone) Thanks
Did you try disabling Tracking Protection for the site?
Still ONLY using Firefox. I go to another major site and comments are not even listed. Try a different browser and presto,.....comments reappear and able to leave comments on yahoo. Got a Firefox update today and same thing. Very strange that this just started happening two weeks ago.
Strict Tracking Protection started blocking Disqus comments a few weeks ago. You can disable Tracking Protection to get it working
Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile. Make sure you stay signed out of your sync account when testing.
We all use Firefox for a reason. Has anyone figured out why Disqus is such a privacy threat that Firefox blocks it and we have to sacrifice our privacy in order to override Firefox and comment/see comments? Could the problem maybe be Disqus' blatant disgregard for users' preferences and NOT Firefox? Or are we just being blackmailed little by little or inured to accept this violation of our privacy and expressed intents?
