Yesterday my Thunderbird was sending but NOT saving sent messages. I was receiving all messages. Today, however, I CANNOT RECEIVE or SEND messages. I have used Thunderbird on this computer for years . . . what has happened?

what are the error messages you are seeing? What provider? Cox for instance are completely exiting email in favor of Yahoo and customers need to make changes both with Cox and Thunderbird to continue to get mail on @Cox accounts.
