How do I get java working?

Okay I go under tools then options then go to content and I don't have the box to enable java, I have uninstalled and reinstalled fire fox multiple times and I still don't have that box and I can't play a lot of games due to this, I have gone to the Java website and downloaded that as well but it is still not working. Please help!

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== I updated to the newest version of Fire fox

Java was removed from the Content tab in Options. It now is with all the other plugins, under Tools > Addons >> Plugins

those are enabled and I still can't get java to work
