Does not Print Complete Web Page
Hi,
I wrote the below message on 12/9 but did not get an answer. Please help!
Hi,
For certain Web pages, when I press ctrl-P, the complete Web page prints just fine! However, for certain other Web pages, when I press ctrl-P, only the beginning of the Web page prints!
I do not have such problems with Internet Explorer -- and I am getting tired of copying and pasting the URLs into Internet Explorer to get it to print completely. I would prefer to do all my work in Firefox without having to switch back and forth with Internet Explorer.
Operating system: Vista, service pack 2 Firefox: version 3.6.12
Please help. Thanks.

Can you provide a URL that fails to print properly?

1. Firefox -- The above URL did NOT print properly.
2. Internet Explorer -- The above URL did print properly!
3. Google Chrome -- The above URL did print properly!
Thanks. Illness then holidays prevented prompt response!

Any conclusions?

A Bug in Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions is causing that problem. Good news is that that Bug is fixed in the Firefox 4.0 betas.
Great!
Thanks!
What is the target date for release of version 4.0?

Am Running Beta 4.0b11 now. Seems to be an issue with local printing to a printer. Only prints 1 page.
4.0b12pre shows in Print Preview that - http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Who-Will-Struggle-in-usnews-1712944905.html?x=0 - would print that article on two sheets of paper. It uses a print.css file so that not everything on the web page would be printed - mainly just the content of that article, with a minimal header.
I am still seeing this problem when trying to print even under the new 4.0. It only prints the first page. I agree that the yahoo page above seems to be fixed but some other pages still fail.
I have an internal page that always exhibits this behavior, but I can not post it (banking). Other info: It's a Https:, html/text, UTF-8, (Quirks render), no ownership info supplied.

I am having the same problem, for example on this URL: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/windows-update/
I had the problem last week in Firefox 4, and am still having it after having upgraded to Firefox 5 this morning.
A little background: I got a new computer 15 days ago and have upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7. I'm running into annoying little problems like this all over the place. I came to Firefox because Windows IE was not working right (would not go to URLs when I clicked on them.)
