I would like to open a new email account - to use separately from my present BT Yahoo email account. Does Firefox provide the 'facility' for opening a new email account? I would like an alternative 'account' to send emails and receive emails and, as I already have Firefox as my main browser, I thought I would ask.

I'm not very good technically.

Nope, Firefox doesn't offer an email service. It doesn't even "do" email. Try Gmail for another email account.

Mozilla do not offer an email service.

For an alternative you can try Google's Gmail service - https://mail.google.com
