Why does "Reformat text on zoom" not work on my HTC Desire?
I cannot get Reformat text on zoom" to work on my HTC Desire.
I have folleowed the instructions on this page to no luck. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/zoom-in-and-out#w_reformatting-text-on-zoom
Has anyone else experienced this?

Hmm, sorry it's not working. It might be that the text on the page is not small enough to trigger the reformatting behavior. (Our default settings are perhaps not aggressive enough about reformatting text.) If you install the Bigger Text add-on and use its options to increase the "Double-tap size" to 18, then does reformatting work when you double-tap?
Are you using the browser in portrait or landscape orientation? It should be more noticeable in portrait mode.
As an example, the text on gnu.org should reflow if you double-tap on the orange area at the top of the page with the "Reform text" option enabled.

In Firefox 4, reformatting works only when you double-tap to zoom. It does not work when you pinch zoom. (We're working on improving the reformatting feature in future versions.)
double-taping does not help. still not reformatting.

Thx... "bigger text" add-on did fix the problem on one of the three newsites I check out several times a day. Its not perfect but its a start. Thank you
Just wanted to put in my 2 cents as well, I hope that the reformat will work just as the standard browser. I will try the Big text to see if it helps with some sites.

T-Mobile Amaze does not reformat text on zoom either.
PLEASE enable reformatting with the 'pinch to zoom' function. Without it it's barely possible to read many of the websites, which can easily be read with browsers like Opera and others.
With this feature, Firefox Mobile would be a fantastic application!
And on this behalf thanks to the Firefox team for your great work on the mobile version of Firefox. You have done a great job so far! Firefox has improved a lot during this year and remains my favorite browser.
