Well, I recently upgraded to Firefox 4, and I noticed that when i type something into the search box on the www.google.ca homepage (not the search box at the top right of Firefox), it doesn't make suggestions as I type anymore? I looked in the search preferences, and the Provide query predictions options was checked... As well, it doesn't search when i hit enter on my keyboard, and I have to click the Google search button in order to make it search... I've tried checking the do not predict queries, saving the settings, then going back and changing it back to provide query predictions, and then saving, but that didn't work either, and neither did downgrading to Firefox 3.6 (so i've gone back to firefox 4)....

Fixed this issue by removing all Google search engines, and then restoring defaults.
