cannot get fireFTP to recognize a changed file.....and execute!!!

I am using Dreamweaver CS5. I have changed the needed information and transferred the file from Dreamweaver back to our Website FTP file. I can't get the new file to execute. (I changed the "Featured Products" on our website home page)
