The Super 8 hotel has a portal to their internet called ihotel. When you connect, you get a web image that says you're not connected, and a button to click to activate the internet connection. This website now pops up every time I try to go to www.google.com, even after I've left the hotel.

Check the connection settings.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection > Settings
