I upgraded from FF 3.6 to 7.01 , and my Fireftp addon simply disappeared. I keep trying to reinstall it, but after restarting Firefox, it is nowhere to be found (except in the list of addons...). One should note that this is version FF7.01 , where the problem of disappearing addons was supposedly solved.

I even tried installing the addon that was supposed to fix the hidden addons problem in FF 7.0 , but no luck.

If FireFTP appears in the list of add-ons, it hasn't disappeared and isn't hidden, as was initially happening with Firefox 7.0.

Have you looked in the Web Developer menu item under the orange Firefox button, or under Tools? New location for web development add-ons menu items.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I would have never thought looking under Web Developer (which is under Tools), and there it indeed was...
