How to delete a custom toolbar.
Where are custom toolbar definitions stored? I created one, but now want to permanently delete it.
Every time I open Firefox it is activated and I have to turn it off in the View menu. My preferences are not stored. This occurred in the last Firefox upgrade. Also the top area turns a nasty green color before it loads my custom background.
Any idea what is going on and how I can correct?
As an aside, the "educated guesses" for this are all wrong. It shows my version as 3.5.4 and my OS as XP.

You need to remove all items (including separators and space items) from a toolbar and drag them back in the toolbar palette to remove the toolbar when the customize window is closed.

Didn't realize there was a separator left. You're right, that did it. Thanks!!

I have a variation on this problem: I'm using Make Button to add customized toolbar link buttons to my custom toolbar.
Now I want to delete some extra items in my Customize Toolbar palette. It is cluttered from accidentally hitting the Add New Toolbar button 3 times (long ago, before I got familiar with how it works).
I have already tried Restore Default Set, but the three new toolbars remain in the palette.
Any suggestions for removing them?

Looks like you have an incompatible addon installed.
