Cannot connect to Company SSL site gateway and Database program after 10.0 Upgrade
Dear All/Admin/Tech, After upgrading to Firefox 10.0 my company's staff in Indonesia can not longer access our company's web SSL gateway and thus cannot log onto our database web program.
In my testing, in Singapore (with Fibre broadband to same ISP), I am encountering the same issue.
Both Chrome and IE have no issues but Firefox keeps on getting the "The connection was reset" error.
Is Firefox now super sensitive to website lag, does not allow ports or is there some issue that causes Firefox to reject the webpage/program?
This so far seems to happen on Firefox 10.0 and to our https SSL web gateway. Which is fine on every other browser.
Please help.
Thanks and Regards, Joel Li

I'm also having problems with FF 10 and Fortinet VPN.
This helped me little bit... http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprosecurity/thread/e6e8ada8-bc12-4f6f-8de3-1d3fd2ff4931
The problems seems to be in Microsoft Security Update KB2585542, that patches TLS and SSL. Apparently some websites that use SSL are not working correclty because of it.
I had to disable the KB2585542 Security Update, then downgrade to FF 9.0.1.
BUT I don't want to stay unpatched and with an old FF version. Any way to get around this without downgrading?
EDIT: Just to be clear, even after I disabled the MS patch I kept getting "Connection was reset" in FF10. Everything was working fine until I upgraded to FF10 even with the patch on.

Thx for the head up.
Will correspond with Fortinet to see if they have corporate wide solutions.
Hopefully Mozilla can fix this issue on their end with FF 10.0.
