When is Firefox going to have it's own translator built in?
I heard that Firefox will have its own translation feature built in sometime soon also will it use Bing or Google for translations?

Currently, there does not appear to be any plans for a translation feature. However, Bing does offer a bookmarklet that will translate webpages when you click on it. You can get their bookmarklet here.
There does not appear to be a bookmarklet for Google at the moment, but there is an add-on available that uses Google translate. There are also many other translation add-ons available, although they may slow your Firefox down a bit. Just search for translations on their add-ons page.
Well I could've sworn that I heard that FF was going to get it's own translation feature and I know that a lot of people would like to see this as well oh one last thing I also heard from CNet that Firefox is going to get a auto fill URL much like Chrome has.
Yeah, a translation feature would definitely be nice to have in Firefox! Also yes, an auto fill URL is planned to be in Firefox 14.
See the discussion in this bug report:
- bug 566489 - Enable inline autocomplete again, but make it smarter (perceived performance)
So will the auto fill URL get it's results from the default search engine in the address bar mine is Ixquick.com and will the feature invade are privacy like it does in Chrome?
Endret
