Only malware and ad pages use this friggin pop-up. The window will never close untill you hit 'leave page' Which I won't because you friggin mozilla a**h*les. Who's to say that this "leave this page' button wont be installing spyware instead or download something?

Why would mozilla implement such a dumbass function?

Just disable this freaking feature which invokes the popup or tell me how to. How can end-user be sure ths popup is from mozilla and not from a spyware java coder who wants you to hit that button so that he can run a script?

sincerely,

fed-up-with-this-shit.

I'm not absolutely 100% positive but whatever I did, it worked to get rid of the same thing you're having problems with.

I have Windows7 and this is what I did: Control Panel>Internet Options>Security>Custom Level- and then I THINK I scrolled down to "Websites in less privileged web content zone can navigate into this zone" and selected "Enable." I also scrolled down to "Allow websites to prompt for information using scripted windows" and chose "Disable." Make sure to click on "OK" after making the changes.
