How to change the directory of IndexedDB?

Is it possible to set the path where IndexedDB is written without moving the entire profile?

I am having the issue that Mega.co.nz leaves all downloaded files¹ in this directory until they are deleted via external means. Navigating to "Users/User/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/code.default/IndexedDB" to do so is inconvenient. I would like to put IndexedDB on my temp drive, along with cache, to be wiped along with all other temporary files at once, since no websites that I visit make permanent use of the local storage database.

The best solution would be not to use Mega, but its popularity is mainly decided by other users.

System: Windows XP; Firefox 22.

hello j7nj7n, it should be possible to clear this data within firefox in options > advanced > network. please also update firefox to the latest version - you are using an outdated version affected by quite a few known security vulnerabilities!
