Broken images everywhere
I tested with another browser, images were visible. Screenshot attached I copied editor code, this should work:

Solved. Privacy Badger was causing this, I had blocked Imgur.

Why can't I edit my question and why text formatting is broken?
try to clear cache from options->advanced->network, if needed, you may also want to clear cookies.

No change, I also restarted my browser.
One possibility:
Is the forum a secure (HTTPS) site? If you have blocked mixed "display" content on secure sites, then images on HTTP URLs will not be retrieved. But since you generally need to use about:config to make this change, it might not apply to you.
