Norton Utilities causing Silverlight/Netflix to stop working, how to avoid this problem?

After installing Norton Utilities, which is quite a useful program on my slow netbook, well Silverlight stops working. And every time I get it to work and do a scan on the NU, it stops working again!! How or what can I get it to stop this from happening? Please, help?!
