I recently got a new macbook pro, installed Thunderbird, and am running version 45.5.1. Not all fonts installed on my computer seem to be available in Thunderbird. I'm not trying to use anything too weird, but I would like to keep using book antiqua. Other programs on the computer (word, excel) have no trouble using this font. Any help would be appreciated.

To be clear, it is not that I don't know how to change the font in Thunderbird, it's that when I go to change the font, the one I want isn't there.

I'm not sure if Thunderbird handles it the same way, but if the font is installed on your Mac and you can use it in other programs, maybe you can access it in Thunderbird through the menu Format -> Font…
