Can't add new shortmail email account to Thunderbird 'server already exists'

i have a new email address, @shortmail.me, i tried to install it Thunderbird claimed password was wrong so i logged in via browser to check and it wasn't, i think maybe POP server # was wrong, i tried again and it claims 'server already exists'. I tried looking for the profiles .ini & default something to delete as in 2011 people said solved the problem but i can't find them. Am using latest Thunderbird, whatever that is. Not very good at computer stuff but can follow instructions. Thanks, sorry for your time and trouble.

In Thunderbird Help > Troublshooting Information click on 'copy text to clipboard' In this question, right click in a Post a Reply box and choose paste. Highlight and edit/remove all the section on fonts and printers, but nothing else.
