Having installed Firefox on my new laptop (Windows 8.1) in May it always comes up in the German language. How do I, or we, fix this to be in English?

New laptop hp Pavilion 8Gb RAM 1Tb HDD keeps coming up with the German language. Installing for the first time the "English" box was ticked but then following times it reverted to German. Particularly frustrating when installing new software "German" dominates - I don't speak enough German so I have to guess when installing software. Firefox works fine on my Sony Vaio Windows 7 (sent from this one, and the new one has the same email) and has never reverted to German. How can I/we keep English stable on my Windows 8.1 laptop. Many thanks in advance.

hello, please download the english firefox from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ and install it on top of your current version.
