Keep receiving same email over & over and NO new emails

I have been unable to receive new email; every time I hit get mail I get the same old email. This only applies to this one email address [dcooper.ak@gmail.com] and Mozilla Thunderbird. My second specialty email address [health4me.ak@gmail.com] is unaffected. In addition I can see new emails when I go to google mail.

Only you and your email provider has control of your email. Thunderbird is software that runs on your computer and no one here or at Mozilla can do anything with it. Glad you are back working.

Go back to the gmail site and delete the problem email to see if that frees up the remaining messages.

Still waiting for some additional help. I prefer using Thunderbird, but this is frustrating having to go to two different email clients. It appears my 1 email address is blocked and can no longer receive additional emails via Thunderbird. Every time I get mail I only receive one email & it is the same last one which I have now deleted over 75 times. 8-13-14 at 8:22pm. I have shut down & re-started over 30 times. No problem with Google Mail. My other email address which comes via Thunderbird has no problems.

Not sure what happened but all my emails finally came in today. Thank you if someone did something externally!
