Can you help fix my Firefox? The screen is black.

When I try to open up Firefox, it just opens up to a solid black screen. I have tried uninstalling it and then installing again. Resetting. So far nothing works. Google chrome and internet explorer are fine but Firefox has gone bad. Can you help please?

posted by phillip in other support threads hello, other users with this problem all had an embedded intel hd graphics card with an old driver present. in case this also applies to you, here would be a link to update the driver, which in turn should also address the black firefox problem.
