How can I stop Firefox from running a Java applet from a site that I no longer trust?

I've found plenty of answers to the opposite question (at <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/963349> and <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-allow-java-trusted-sites>, among other places), but none for my question. Firefox apparently builds a list of trusted sites for Java using its "Allow and Remember" dialog, but gives no easy way to edit that list (other than adding more sites to it). What am I supposed to do if I clicked "Allow and Remember" at some time in the past, and now want to revoke that permission?

hi, when you click on the plugin icon on the left of the address bar while you're on that site it will allow you to change your permissions...

You can inspect and manage permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:

  • Click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location/address bar
  • Click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info" with the Security tab selected
  • Go to the Permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > Permissions) to check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab

You can also clear the Java cache.

Click the Lego? Argh - real discoverable, guys. Plus I was looking for something more like how cookie permissions are managed - a list of sites for each permission rather than a list of permissions for each site. After all, the grantable permissions are far easier to enumerate (even with a lot of obscure plugins) than all the sites one may have granted them to.

I also don't like that one has to visit the site (using the existing permissions) before one can make changes to those permissions.
