Why does "Sender Name" randomly change from the actual sender to another sender from recently received mail?
When the email is first received the "Sender Name" is correct. When opening Thunderbird later the "Sender Name" has been changed in a random fashion to another sender of recently received email.

Maybe the indexing needs fixing.
right click on foldre and select 'Properties' Then click on 'Repair folder' button click on OK
refresh folder pane / clickon another folder and then go back.
