Windows 8 laptop opens saved Google bookmark email address dianneshares as k988feline. Sync from Window 7 on desktop ?
Bookmarked Google email links open as another one of my Google email accounts. All of my bookmarks are created on my Windows 7 desktop computer. When using my Windows 8 laptop compter, my synced email bookmarks open as a different Google email address.
Synced Link - "Inbox - dianneshares@XXXXX.XXX - Gmail" opens as "Inbox - k988feline@XXXXX.XXX

the-edmeister is right here. The bookmarks will do this independent of sync as well.

Hi k988feline,
- Does this happen when you create a new bookmark for these gmail logins?
- Do you also have Cookies selected as one of the sync preferences?
If you can reproduce this with a new bookmark on another computer, let's further investigate and open up a bugzilla ticket with the services team.
Also it sounds like this is something that Google does with account handling. One way to test, recommended by a Sync Engineer is to manually copy the bookmark url to the other pc to see if it does the same thing.
Does this happen when you create a new bookmark for these gmail logins? Yes if I create them on Window 8 laptop, the Widows 7 desktop open differently.
Do you also have Cookies selected as one of the sync preferences?
I have everything available checked, and am using the Windows 7 desktop as the main source. Meaning I am using the laptop to complete work I start on the desktop. Other than testing creating the new logons, I only make changes on the desktop...
Why are those bookmarks for the Inbox for a specific email account?
If you are staying logged into Google+ on one PC and you go to load the bookmark for the other Gmail account the "logged in cookie" for the account might be overriding the account that you made for the other. From what I have been seeing with Gmail and Google+ accounts - the logged in status is far more persistent than I see anywhere else.
My advice is to use the same bookmark to Gmail saved when you aren't logged into either Google+ account - and see how that works by needing to login each time.
