I have an android phone and am trying to recover my address book, calender and tasks from my cell to my Thunderbird on my PC Win7. It tells me that I don't have the correct version of Thunderbird and Lightning... says that I need Thunderbird 24 and Lightning 2.6... I have 38.X and not sure what version of Lightning I have, but I am sure it's updated to work with Thunderbird 24.

How do I get an older version back so I can use Birdiesync? Or is there a newer version of Birdiesync that will work with the newer Thunderbird? Or is there another program or app that will do the same with new version of Thunderbird?

Mahalo (Thank you) for your response!

Older versions of Thunderbird are available here:

https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/

You may have to look at Lightning's "versions" page to find the corresponding issue of Lightning.

I don't know anything about birdiesync. I synchronize calendars and address books via the appropriate add-ons in Thunderbird along with Google's Calendar and Contacts.

Android == Google. Why fight it? ;-)
