we are facing a problem with anonymous attachments with thunder bird in the attachment there is some images where there should be a QR code. but the QR code is replaced with the shown image when forwarding / receiving end

is it an image, or an image generated or placed by javascript? Thunderbird does not support scripting for security reasons.
