Adding my Live.com account as an IMAP account, the folder structure is found, and after a lot of restarting it downloads every email, but not the content of any emails. Thunderbird will occasionally pop up a warning saying it lost connection to the server or that the server is down, always appearing as if it is trying to download my emails, but never succeeds.

It also is missing all of my emails from the last few weeks (today is 12/4/2015, it only downloaded from 10/28/2015 backwards).

Connecting a Gmail account as IMAP works perfectly fine. Attempted this on two different computers, both Windows 10.

We have been seing some truly weird issues reported here around Windows 10. Some have reported that excluding the Thunderbird process fron Windows defender fixes their issues. Have you tried disabling your anti virus?

One system uses Windows Defender purely, the other uses Norton. On the Windows Defender system, I added Thunderbird.exe to the exclusions list, and it didn't make a difference. On the Norton system, I disabled Norton, which disabled Windows Defender as well, and it didn't make a difference either.
