I logged into taxact.com on this browser to purchase Ultimate (get all forms and features plus your state return for one low price of $29.99). Mozilla only shows up to Premium (perfect for self-employed, contractors and free lancers $21.99). If my husband had not been on chrome, I would not have known there was a better deal. I uninstalled Mozilla and reinstalled, but still not showing the right taxact.com. Can you explain to me what I need to do. I hope I haven't been missing other stuff from other websites. I do enjoy this browser. Thank you for your help.

Can you attach a screenshot?

  • Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
  • Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB

Firefox 42+ has a Tracking Protection feature that is enabled by default in Private Browsing mode. When you are in private browsing mode then Firefox can show a shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar that some content is affected.

You can disable this feature in "Options/Preferences > Privacy" or via the about:privatebrowsing page that get when you open a New Private Window.

  • Options/Preferences > Privacy: "Use Tracking Protection in Private Windows"

If you use extensions (3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

When I visit using your link, I see the Ultimate on the right. (screen shot #1) If I use a private window instead, then I don't. (screen shot #2)

That's strange!

Actually, I think it might be randomized. When I try in Chrome, I don't get Ultimate in either regular or incognito mode, but in the incognito window, I get a $9.99 discount offer to accept my refund on an AmEx card. (screen shots #3-4)

I closed the Firefox private window, opened a new one, and tried again. This time I got the Ultimate. It's some kind of game they're playing with us.
