Help! All of my History and Bookmarks are not showing up! :(
I had two Firefox windows open. I was downloading drivers for my printer. I was told to close all programs, so I closed Firefox. When I restarted Firefox, all of my bookmarks, history, bookmark bar, and search setting (Google instead of Yahoo) were gone! Also, I was no longer signed into Facebook and Yahoo! Mail.
What happened? Can I get anything back? How do I avoid this in the future?

Thankfully, I restarted the computer and all was "fixed" and well!

From my point of view, you got inside one of that special web sites that say's that will install something with TONS of gargadge with it....
If you want to restore it go back in time to the past before you install the driver and just to be sure install spybot search and destroy and a good antiviru with it
Avira free is a good one
