good morning, i have this problem : i have copied all my imap folders to the local inbox of my thunderbird with the add on "copy folders" and now i need to delete emails filtering from a date but just on the imap folders excluding the local folders from the search, is that possible? thank you

I looked at the add-on and the comments are that it doesn't work well with TB 45.* But to your q in imap account on server and pc should syncronize. If you delete in your account on server it should be deleted on folders on your pc. And vice versa Local folders are only on your pc. So if your add-on copies the entire account to local folders its a local copy that does not sync with your server (UNLESS that add-on does a sync with account-folders which would spoil the purpose of having a copy in Local Folders)

When searching with edit / find /search message (ctrl+shift+F) you set what folder (or account) it should search within.
