Plug In Checker always shows Flash as being vulnerable, even when it is not. Why?
Every time I check plug ins Adobe Flash shows out of date and vulnerable, even if I recently updated it. Why? KG

Hi Wi1d_Bi11, it seems you have two versions of the Flash plugin on your system (this is from next to your question, Question Details > More System Details):
- Shockwave Flash 18.0 r0
- Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0
The official cleanup method is to do a full uninstall/reinstall of Flash:
- You can find a link to Adobe's uninstaller in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
- You can get a fresh Flash 22 installer from: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
But... it usually works to just physically remove the older file(s). To find the location (full path on disk), type or paste about:plugins in the address bar and press Enter. Then in the page, you can use Find (Ctrl+f) to look for npswf which is unique to the Flash plugin.
On 64-bit Windows, the normal location is:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
If you go into that folder, be careful to delete ONLY the specific unwanted file listed in about:plugins because the others may be needed by other programs.
