Firefox will not remember my privacy setting for 'Remember search and form history'

Despite setting this numerous times, Firefox resets it to unchecked. The setting is in Options - Privacy - Remember Search and form history. It is a check box. I set it, it works until the browser is shut down and then it resets to unchecked. Please help

Hi, sorry to hear you are having a problem; make sure you don't have any security software or Firefox addons that may be interfering - Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A) > Extensions.
