Can no longer select an email to read or delete, and I can't sort them, either.

Just updated. Tonight, I sorted my emails by Correspondent so I could delete a bunch of old stuff.

So, the sort went OK. But now I can neither select *any* emails to read, delete or do anything with them ... and I cannot re-sort them, either!

I'm running the latest update of Windows 7 Home.

I've used Thunderbird for many years, but this update made it worse than useless to me.
