Me and my colleague using the same email ID on different computers using Thunderbird. The email data (local Directory) also same which is shared on a different location. If i send a message from my computer the same is not reflecting on my colleague computers sent items. If we need to see that both of us need to close and reopen the Thunderbird. How do I solve this situation?

You use IMAP and do not share profiles. It does not work. Ever. Thunderbird has no concept of a file being opens by another instance of itself, so corruption is quite possible.
