Open Tools/Account Settings, select the gmail account in the left pane, then Account Actions at the bottom of the left pane, Set as Default, then select the outlook account, Account Actions/Remove Account.

Open Tools/Account Settings, select the gmail account in the left pane, then Account Actions at the bottom of the left pane, Set as Default, then select the outlook account, Account Actions/Remove Account.
