Hello: I have a client who is selling his business that uses Thunderbird. The buyer requires Outlook 365 as their email software. Does Thunderbird have an export function that would export the sender email address, the recipient email addresses, the title, text of the email and any attachments?

No it does not. Perhaps ask Microsoft if they have an importer. THe answer wil ne no, because they ceased to compete in the mail arena about two decades ago, they gave the product away free for long enough they have the market share, they do not need more.

The alternative is to use one of the paid products on the market. There are no free open source ones I am aware of, but as you are going closed source I would not really expect much, closed source usually means proprietary formats patents and licenses et al..
