During my usual LInux Mint update, i got a failure to upgrade Firefox "404 Not Found..."
Here are the error messages for the two packages:

404 Not Found [IP: 68.235.39.11 80]

I currently run Firefox v 72.0.1 (64 bit) on the latest Linux Mint. (it's automatically kept up to date.

I tried going directly to the site:
http://packages.linuxmint.com/pool/upstream/f/firefox/
There, I saw a list of updates. I clicked on the one for Mint, 64 bit and it downloaded and triggered my package installer. Very cool... but that version would not run. My "old" Firefox was the only one I could find.
A few hours later, the problem solved itself. I refreshed the Linux update app and a newer version of the Firefox update showed in the list.
I ran the app and everything updated fine.
I guess they were working on the update or had to fix a bug.

Current is Firefox 73.0.1.
Maybe try:
Cor-El: I downloaded and installed that, but it appears to only be the English language pack. The installer says:
English language pack for Firefox This package contains English translations and search plugins for Firefox
I installed it anyway and restarted. "Help" "about" still says I have v72.0.1.
