Firefox scrolling performance on Samsung Android S5e tablet

Hi team,

This is to share that I do not have a smooth Firefox performance on my Samsung S5E Android tablet. Several sites I tested are : dpreview.com, teradata.com and apple.com On these sites especially, vertical scrolling is never smooth, looks like something prevent a nice scroll. I don't have issues on this tablet with Chrome, scrolling is smooth on these sites. I tried to remove and reinstall Firefox, same behavior. Tried Firefox nightly, same behavior.

This tablet is not the more powerful nowadays but doesn't suffer any performance issues on other apps I checked.

I am using Firefox on many other devices smartphone & tablets, I didn't notice this scrolling issues before.

So if someone has some ideas and feedbacks, it is more than welcome. Thanks a lot. Have a merry christmas ! Jerome

Hello!

I am not sure if these settings are the same for a tablet; however, the steps might be similar. On Firefox click the three lined button on the far right, then tools, options, advanced options, then enable smooth scrolling. If that does not work, under tools search "smooth scrolling" and enable smooth scrolling that way.
