Update 78.9.0 has stopped "sendto email" function

Hi, i´m new in the forum. Excuse my english please.

Immediately after Thunderbird update to ver. 78.9.0 the "sendto email" function will no longer work. First seen on a desktop PC under WIN 10, just updated, I think in week 12/2021

Then checked on a WIN 10 laptop without the newest update. After executing the update, same problem. After right click on a picture or document the function "sendto email" doesn´t show up in the opening menue.

On both computers Thunderbird is set as standard program for email, and as program for .eml files. Necessary windows files for the function exist and seem uncorrupted.

Without the sendto email workaround it is no longer possible to send one or especially several files to an email template. For pictures the function to reduce their size in one step für one and especially several pictures is essential - and lost now! A lot of efficiency in working with email is no longer usable.

I hope Mozilla will rework the update or send a patch. Any help from the community is welcome! Thanks! U.C.
