Lately when I get email with attachments or over 300k in size I will click the link to download the rest of the message like usual, and the whole thing disappears! No trace of it in inbox, trash, spam filter.... nowhere! It just disappears.

This is a recent thing. 

 I have use Mozilla since it was brand new Netscape. 
 please help

Lately when I get email with attachments or over 300k in size I will click the link to download the rest of the message like usual, and the whole thing disappears! FireFox isn't a email browser, so what email provider are you using for the email?
