I have created a Google WorkSpace account for retrieving and sending emails. Within the account, I have a main eMail address shown here as "main" for illustration. "main@larents.biz" I have several alias sub-accounts that take the form "SubAccount@larents.biz"

I'm seeking to be able to retrieve mail Google places in my "inbox" and/or mail filtered so as only to appear in my "SubAccount" .

I've followed instructions to set up account with incoming server "pop.gmail.com" with a user name of "main@larents.biz" outgoing server "main@larents.biz - smtp.gmail.com"

I've also changed permissions to allow cookies as suggested by one web site.

Thunderbird asked for various p/w and automatically filled in the eMail menu with "inbox" and "Trash", but when I ask "Get Messages" , Thunderbird says "Sending of password for user "main@larents.biz" did not succeed.

Can Thunderbird be configured to retrieve mail from Google workspace accounts. I've been successful on getting it to retrieve eMails from a regular free gmail account. I've been careful to make sure I don't get them confused.
