I am trying to add my email signature image to Thunderbird, but despite it being resized by my designer, it shows up very large on the screen. What the is the optimal size and dpi to use for the signature and is there a way to reduce the size in the settings?

Thunderbird does not have a setting to change signature size. You might post more detail on the size of the graphic and someone here may have suggestions. I would add that, although it's possible to use HTML to change the viewed size, the actual size remains so, when you do find the right size, I recommend resizing the graphic itself.
