I have always had this option with Chrome and other browsers. But I can't find this feature in the latest version of FF.

I want to disable images on specific websites, not all websites. I examined my address bar and there's no option there at all when I'm the specific site I want to block images and/or media.

PS. I'm using Firefox for Windows 11.

I don't want to use any third party extensions such as adblock/script add-ons. Most of these like EasyList are too complex [for me] to create (program) manual filters. Furthermore, it's mid 2023, we shouldn't have to manual pick each image we want to block. We should be able to do so as with Chromium browsers. Even IE has this ability (back in the day).

If blocking images "a la carte" isn't available within FF, then please confirm.

There no such thing beyond Ads blocker or 3rd party software to do what your asking. What options in Chrome are you referring to? Other then Enhanced Tracking Protection that Firefox has for privacy manager unless that site is a Porn site or such. So unless there is a URL of the problem site no one is going to be able to know what is going on here.

Firefox never had the feature to block images from specific webpages (i.e. a blocklist). You can block all images via permissions.default.image, for more control you need an extension.

A possible extension that has a whitelist and blacklist feature.

uBlock Origin has a simple toggle switch for blocking large images and media over a specified size on the current site.

Well you could use desktop software for blocking image search. FocusMe is the best by far and you can block custom URLs programs and even different processes as well as keywords on programs and websites.

There's no circumvention of the software
