NatWest
Firefox 118.0.2 Windows 10 I cleared cache and cookies and since then when logging on to NatWest the "Remember Me" option will not work, I have to type in my customer number every time. I'm sure I had this problem a few years ago but cannot remember what fixed it. Tried contacting an agent of NatWest but their response was the expected "clear cache and try another browser" so no help at all. Probably a long shot but has anyone any idea what I am missing?

Does it still happen with all your extensions disabled?
Still fails
Make sure you are not clearing cookies on close or using private browsing mode ("Never remember history").
Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile.
You can try to create a cookie allow exception for this origin (protocol and hostname).
In case you use "Clear history when Firefox closes" or otherwise clear history.
- do not clear the Cookies
- do not clear the "Site settings"
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history":
[X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" -> Settings - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/delete-browsing-search-download-history-firefox
- using "Clear history when Firefox closes" in Firefox 102+ honors exceptions and keeps cookies with an allow exception, previous versions removed all cookies
- clearing "Site settings" clears exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, and software installation and exceptions for passwords and other website specific data
Went into site and "Privacy and cookie" section had only "strictly necessary" allowed, changed to "allow all" and hey presto the site now remembers me. I have not changed any cookie settings and it worked before with I'm sure just "strictly" set. Many thanks for the quick responses.
