Haven't been able to download incoming emails on this laptop. They are downloading on my Tablet. I'd be grateful for any ideas about what I can do to rectify this. Not too complicated - I'm 83!!anks

You didn't provide any specifics, such as any error messages. Assuming no errors, a possible cause when the tablet is a POP setup, in which case, the message download to tablet and are removed from server, causing the laptop to not find any messages to download. For both to share the account fully, they both need to be IMAP setups.
